Internal Committee constitution. Annual Report filing. Board Report disclosure. Awareness programmes. Every obligation under the POSH Act is structured, maintained, and filed, so your workplace is protected, and your compliance is real. Mandatory for every organisation in India with 10 or more employees.
Most organisations have a policy document. Many have an Internal Committee at least on paper.
But POSH compliance requires more than a document and a committee name list. The IC must be correctly constituted. The Annual Report must be filed, not just prepared. The Board’s Report must carry a complete POSH disclosure. Awareness programmes must happen regularly, not just at onboarding.
Greenvissage ensures your POSH compliance is real, correctly structured, actively maintained, and fully documented.

Yes. The POSH Act applies to all organisations operating in India with 10 or more employees, regardless of whether the entity is Indian-owned or a foreign subsidiary. Foreign-owned companies are also often subject to additional scrutiny from parent company governance requirements and group audits.
Organisations must establish a compliant Internal Committee, maintain a valid POSH policy, conduct awareness programmes, manage complaints appropriately, and complete annual reporting requirements.
An internal committee under POSH that does not meet legal composition requirements is considered non-compliant. This includes missing external members, incorrect member composition, or expired terms.
The POSH annual report India records complaint statistics, actions taken, and compliance activities during the year. It must be submitted to the employer and the designated District Officer as required under the Act.
